Section 6

Section 6: Resolution

Based on what I said earlier, I believe the only way that the situation in Darfur can get better is if a lot of people donate to help victims, or if some stronger power comes forward and overthrows the government of Sudan. “Donate to the Genocide Intervention Network and help stop the atrocities occurring in Darfur and other places around the world” (Squidoo).  This shows that if we can band together and each gives a little to help Darfur, then maybe we can help them in what little ways that we can.  As I did say before, although donations would help, donations can not stop the Muslims.

“The growing genocide in Darfur is not a partisan issue but one that reaches across a broad range of constituencies, including religious, human rights, humanitarian, medical, and legal communities, among others, all of which are advocating an aggressive international response to the crisis. Many organizations with a conservative bent, particularly within the religious community, have been at the forefront of advocacy for the people of Sudan; others have been hesitant to link up with them” (Common Dreams).  This quote shows that the genocide in Darfur is not one that can be resolved completely peacefully, and shows that actions must be taken between countries to try and stop Sudan from killing innocent people in Darfur.
